National Tyres

Argyll Training has been working with National Tyres since May 2000. They have taken many trainees for work experience over the years and employed at least five of our trainees. The manager, James McDonald, has always been happy to take our young people and give them a grounding of the reality of working in a busy garage. In the Greenock garage we have four ex trainees employed there and a current trainee learning the ropes.

WH Smiths

WH Smith in Oban have had 4 members of staff successfully complete Level 2 SVQ in Retail Skills. One of the successful candidates joined WH Smith as a Get Ready for Work candidate on a work placement. Having completed her work placement she was offered fulltime employment by WH Smith.
